DISPLACED LANDSCAPES II

2021. Residency and exhibition in ESPACE ADÉLARD. Sep-Oct 2021.

For the exhibition phase at Adélard I presented a second edition of this installation. I hung about half of the drawings produced at the Symposium, but this time visitors were allowed to enter the installation (I tried several mirror placements). I decided to experiment with mirrors, light, shadow and image reflection. The reflection of the image in the broken mirrors refers to water. The conflicts from which the transformed landscapes in this work arise, are partly due to the lack of water and the poor distribution of water resources.

I took advantage of my residency period to experience some other aspects with this material.
